This is a one owner, players guitar, if you are looking for "a Custom Shop Reissue that has very little play time and has never left my smoke free home" or  "1968 RI Custom, never played, Killer Flame, Beautiful Quilt"; this is not the guitar for you.

This is a VINTAGE guitar, built in the waning moments of the "Golden Age" of Gibson, Inc., in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It most definitely IS NOT a lifeless recreation, or worse yet, another unimaginative concoction of a corporate machine that sells image and fantasy, playing fast and loose with the terms "historic" and "art". For over 35 years this guitar has been the muse of one player, and she is ready for at least 35 more! Yes, she bears the marks of countless hours of wood-shedding, rehearsing, and playing frat parties, club and concert stages. But, she is solid! One piece mahogany body, one piece long tenon neck, (no volute, no "Made in U.S.A."). This is a no excuses, built like the 50's originals, REAL Gibson Les Paul! No breaks, no repairs, no mods. Original finish, frets (with precious little wear for the number of hours she has been played!), pickups and surrounds, electronics, bridge and tailpiece, pickguard, truss rod cover, and pickup selector ring.

If you're looking for a '69 Les Paul Custom, what might best be described as a poor man's Sunburst, then

PLEASE read on!
